Stuff the Bus Planned

Potomac Highlands United Way will be holding their annual “Stuff the Bus” event hosted by both Walmart and Staples in LaVale.  A bus will be parked in both lots on Friday, August 14^th from 9am to 5pm where new school supplies for the school year can be donated.  The Board of Education will then distribute the supplies among areal schools and, this year, the libraries.  Michelle Walker with United Way says since 2012 almost 100,000 items have been collected…

“Cumulatively in Allegany County we have collected more than 93,000 items over the course of the history of this event and hope that we can help the school out this year.”
