Tri-State Zoological Park Lawyer Must Pay PETA

PETA – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals – won its lawsuit against the Tri-State Zoological Park resulting in the removal of animals and the zoo’s eventual closure in 2019. Now the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County has ruled in favor of PETA in a lawsuit against the zoo’s lawyer, Nevin Young. Young was found to be involved in a scheme to silence two witnesses during the suit against the zoo. Young has been ordered to pay PETA $20,000.
