UPMC Hospice Care Honored

UPMC Western Maryland Hospice recently earned a 5-star Family Caregiver Survey Rating from the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, the highest rating available. The rating is based on a consumer survey by CMS administered to family caregivers that looks at communication, help with pain and symptoms, emotional and spiritual support and how well families were prepared to care for their loved one.  UPMC Hospice Care includes nurses, a physician, home health, pastoral care and other needed therapies.
