Weber Street Assault Arrest

On Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a report of an assault in the area of Weber St. Upon arrival, officers contacted a female victim who stated she had been involved in a verbal altercation in the street. During the incident, another female subject approached her, struck her and began to choke her, resulting in visible injuries. Following the investigation, police arrested Sandra Leeann Delawder, 59, of Cumberland, MD. She appeared before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance and was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
