Wes Moore leads Dan Cox in a UMBC Poll

In a poll from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Institute of Politics, Democratic Governor Wes Moore leads Republican candidate Dan Cox by 51% to 24% in the gubernatorial race. Out of the 776 voters questioned 51% said they would vote for Moore while 24% said they would vote for Cox. Another 3% said they would vote for Green Party candidate Andy Ellis whereas 3% would vote for Working Class Candidate Cathy White. 5% would vote for another candidate and 14% were undecided. The UMBC poll has a a 3% margin of error.

Looking along party lines 72% of Democratic voters said they would vote for Moore were as 4% said they would vote for Cox. Of those voters, 13% were undecided. Among Republican voters, 75% said they would vote for Cox and 6% for Moore with 10% undecided. ,40% Unaffiliated voters said they would vote for Moore and 14% for Cox with 27% undecided.
