Willowbrook Road Disorderly Conduct, Assault, Resisting Arrest

On September 18th, 2026 at approximately 11:58 a.m., officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to 12500 Willowbrook Road regarding an incident needing investigation. During the investigation, a separate disturbance began. Officers then directed their attention to Adam Nicholas Barnard, who was disrupting hospital operations. Officers ordered Barnard to stop his disorderly behavior, but he failed to comply. Officers then attempted to arrest Barnard, at which time he actively resisted being placed in handcuffs. After a brief struggle, officers handcuffed Barnard and transported him to a police cruiser. It was then learned that two victims assisting officers were assaulted during the struggle. Barnard was transported to Central Booking. He was later presented before a District Court Commissioner and released on an unsecured bond of $2,500.
