October 14th, 2015 by WCBC Radio

Federal District Court in Baltimore has announced a settlement in the case brought by an anonymous plantiff against the Allegany County school system as a result of the Jeffrey Alan Mazer sex abuse case.

According to the Associated Press, lawyers have been prohibited from disclosing the terms of the settlement.

The case was filed on March 17, 2015, in Federal District Court in Baltimore, with the plantiff adopting a Jane Doe monikor.

Her attorney, Jeffrey Herman, said in interviews with WCBC News that he thought the case would be settled prior to trial because it was not a good case for the school system.
