After a number of candidates running for seats on the Allegany County School Board expressed concern in recent weeks with the school system’s Chinese Immersion Program- the board has placed a program update on its public meeting agenda for this evening. The educational course is available at West Side Elementary School and Braddock Middle School, has approximately 120 students, and includes seven Chinese instructors teaching Chinese Mandarin language with math, science and culture.
