City Man Arrested for Smashing Car Windows with Bat

At approximately 8:37 p.m., officers were dispatched to a West Second Street residence for male busting windows out of vehicle with a baseball bat.  Officers arrived and located a vehicle in the rear yard of a residence with the windshield and numerous other windows busted out.  Officers spoke with the owner of the vehicle and it was discovered that Jeremy Leland Livengood caused the damage.  Officers located Livengood and he admitted that he was upset, causing the damage to the vehicle.  Livengood was taken into custody and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.  Livengood was later taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was released pending trial in District Court.

Charges: Destruction of Property, and Disorderly Conduct
