Allegany County Government’s FY 2018 (July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018) budget development continues to progress according to Director of Finance Jason M. Bennett, CPA. The Allegany County Commissioners, Jacob C. Shade, Creade V. Brodie, Jr., and William R. Valentine, invite the general public to attend all events. All budget sessions are held at the Allegany County Office Building, 701 Kelly Road, Cumberland.
There are two components: The FY 2018 Operating Budget and the Five-Year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget FY 2018 – FY 2022. The budgets are scheduled for adoption on June 1.
