On June 4, 2017 at approximately 4:31 PM the Cumberland Police responded to a residence in the 600 block of Columbia Avenue for a disturbance complaint. Police learned Jakeenan Corderay Jennings had tampered with a motor vehicle in the area and was seen by the owner. He was confronted by the owner and a disturbance ensued. This was the third time police dealt with Jennings during the shift where he was involved in a disturbance. He was previously told not to create any further disturbances. Jennings was arrested for Failure to Obey a Reasonable and Lawful Order and Disorderly Conduct. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held on $3000 bond. He was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await his next appearance in District Court.
