On 11/11/2018 at approximately 2:30 AM the Cumberland City Police were dispatched to a residence in the 600 block of Pear Street for a breaking and entering in progress. Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect Christopher Shawn Bowie inside the residence. Officers spoke to the homeowner who advised that Mr. Bowie kicked the door and broke the door frame. Mr. Bowie then entered the residence without permission. Mr. Bowie was arrested and taken before a District Court Commissioner. Mr. Bowie was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center held on a $5,000.00 bond.
Arrested – Christopher Shawn Bowie (30) Cumberland, MD
Charges – Burglary 3rd Degree, Burglary 4th Degree, Destruction of Property Less than $1,000.00, Trespassing, and Disturbing the Peace
