Cumberland Man Served Criminal Summons On Several Charges

On July 8th, 2019, The Cumberland City Police Department served a criminal summons on Angelo Bernard Carlton Jr, 31, of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to an incident that occurred on July 7, 2019. During that incident, The Cumberland Police responded to the 600 block of East First St. for a large disturbance. Once on scene, officers observed multiple subjects involved in a verbal altercation there. The subjects were advised to cease their disruptive behaviors and leave the area as it was attracting the attention of multiple neighbors. It was later learned that Carlton had an active no trespassing order for the property in which the disturbance had taken place. Carlton was issued the criminal summons and released pending trial in District Court.

Charges:   Trespassing-Private Property, Disorderly Conduct, Fail to         Obey, Disturb the Peace
