Cumberland Police Make Disorderly Conduct & Warrant Arrests

Officers were dispatched to the area of S. Centre St. for a report of a disturbance.  Upon their arrival they were able to contact several people in the area.  One subject who was identified as James Milton was creating a disturbance by yelling.  He was advised that he needed to stop creating a disturbance and leave the area.  He would begin to walk away from the area but would stop and create a disturbance by yelling.  He was again told to stop and leave the area.  Milton would walk away short distances and stop to create a disturbance.  He was continually told to stop creating a disturbance and leave the area.  He stopped again at the corner of Baltimore and N. Mechanic St. and started to yell.  This time the disturbance caused patrons two local establishments to come outside to see what the disturbance was.  At this time was advised that he was under arrest.  Milton resisted arrest by pulling away from the officers and refusing to place his hands behind his back.  Officers were able to place Milton under arrest.  He was transported to PH where he was processed and charged.

Charges: Resisting Arrest, Disturbing the Peace, Disorderly Conduct, Fail to Obey

Milton was taken for a Bond Hearing and released on his personal recognizance.

 

District Court Arrest Warrant served

 

Brian Keith Doucette                       Age: 48                        Cleveland Ave.

Charge: Burglary 4th Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Disorderly Conduct, Reckless Endangerment

Doucette was taken for a Bond Hearing and released on his personal recognizance.
