Cumberland Police Serve Two Warrants on City Woman

On February 2nd, 2017 the Cumberland Police served two arrest warrants on Tiffany Lee Newcomb, 29 years old, of Cumberland, MD.  Newcomb was charged with Theft Less than $1000 from an incident that occurred on January 3rd, 2017 when Police were called to an address on the 100 block of Grand Ave for a theft of a laptop computer.  The initial investigation lead police to believe that Newcomb may be a suspect.  Further investigation revealed that Newcomb had in fact stolen the computer and then had it pawned by a third party at a local pawn shop.  Newcomb was also charged with Violation of Probation.  She was taken before the District Court Commissioner and released after posting a $2,500 bond.
