Deadline for nominations for the Mineral County Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming Summit Awards is Aug. 31. New this year, the chamber will be holding the Summit Awards in recognition of “our leaders of the community, from our great businesses, non-profits, young leaders, law enforcement, and EMS workers,” according to chamber president Randy Crane.
Chamber members may go to the chamber website at www.mineralchamber.com to nominate someone to receive one of the ten awards to be given out. The winners will be announced at the awards dinner on Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the Davis Conference Center on the campus of WVU Potomac State College.
