Delaney Cruises To Victory In Primary Race

Congressman John Delaney cruised to victory in the Maryland Democratic primary race on Tuesday. The incumbent from Montgomery County, who’s seeking a third term, carried more than 85 percent of the vote in defeating challenger Tony Puca of Potomac.  Delaney says during his two terms in Congress he has learned that compromise and bi-partisanship can go much further in getting things done as opposed to drawing political battle lines…





 

On the Republican side, Aime Hoeber of Montgomery County, deputy undersecretary of the Army during the Ronald Reagan administration, outpaced a large field with 29 percent of the vote. She says, if elected, she will focus on national defense and economic development…
