Delaney Says Some Hard Questions Will Have To Be Answered In Baltimore

As Baltimore attempts to move beyond the rioting and violence that ravaged the city in April- Congressman John Delaney says there will come a time when some hard questions will have to be answered by the mayor and others. On Friday, the governor's office invited Baltimore businesses hurt by rioting and looting to meet with federal, state and local agencies offering recovery assistance.  The Baltimore Development Corporation has identified more than 380 businesses affected by civil unrest in late April following the death of Freddie Gray.  Prosecutors say the 25-year-old black man suffered a fatal spinal injury in police custody.  Six Baltimore police officers face criminal charges in the case.  Delaney said he doesn’t feel it’s appropriate for him to second guess or criticize Baltimore officials for the incidents leading up to the rioting, or the time frame in which state and federal help was requested- but he says eventually those questions have to be answered…
