Week Two of the reopening of the economy will begin Monday, May 4th, and will allow churches to hold services, but Justice asked faith leaders to have the congregations to wear masks and maintain social distancing as much as possible. Justice opened the news conference saying that the the death toll in West Virginia from COVID-19 had reached 40.  He noted that the average age was 78 years old, and asked store owners to consider reserving early store hours for older residents.

COVID-19 Czar pointed out that Governor Larry Hogan has ordered that all Maryland nursing homes be tested immediately, which follows a similar order by Governor Justice last week.
