The campaign for Maryland’s House of Delegates 1B race in Allegany County is showing some early signs of turning into a mud slinging contest- however one of the candidates says he hopes that doesn’t happen. 28 year democrat delegate Kevin Kelly is challenged in November by republican Jason Buckel, a longtime local attorney. In recent election years, Kelly has been known to leak information about his political opponents that often times ends up as negative headlines in the Cumberland Times News just days before the election. Buckel, appearing on WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” that he hopes to keep the campaign on the high road, but he doubts Kelly will follow that path…
