It’s almost a year under @POTUS and I can’t say anything he says stuns me anymore. His comments do not represent America’s values. This is very hurtful. https://t.co/JUV5hgGwO1

I am disgusted. If you are too, take your anger and call your Republican Members of Congress. Tell them to pass the SECURE Act now. TPS recipients need us now more than ever. https://t.co/rvya1Sbtxy

I condemn this unforgivable statement and this demeaning of the office of the Presidency. I will always fight for the vulnerable among us and against bigotry in all its forms. https://t.co/uffsZkgnfy

Trump took to Twitter Friday morning to discuss his Thursday comments.
The language used by me at the DACA meeting was tough, but this was not the language used. What was really tough was the outlandish proposal made – a big setback for DACA!

Trump also weighed in on DACA.
The so-called bipartisan DACA deal presented yesterday to myself and a group of Republican Senators and Congressmen was a big step backwards. Wall was not properly funded, Chain & Lottery were made worse and USA would be forced to take large numbers of people from high crime…..

….countries which are doing badly. I want a merit based system of immigration and people who will help take our country to the next level. I want safety and security for our people. I want to stop the massive inflow of drugs. I want to fund our military, not do a Dem defund….
