Maryland Sixth District Congressman John Delaney has spent more time in Iowa than in Maryland in the past year- as he remains the only announced Democrat running for President in 2020. Delaney, who opted not to seek a fourth term in Congress, will become a full time candidate come January when his current term expires. To date Delaney has spent several million dollars on television ads in Iowa- home of the all important first presidential caucus- and has visited all 99 counties as he works to improve his name recognition.
