The county clerk's office in Mineral County has begun accepting applications for the upcoming general election.

Abentee ballots must be received by the office not later than six days before the Nov. 3 election.

Additionally, the West Virginia Secretary of State's website soon will be launching an online portal for voters to request an absentee ballot at https://sos.wv.gov/elections. The site is not yet operational.
