The Office of the State’s Attorney for Allegany County, the Honorable Michael O. Twigg, State’s Attorney, announced on Thursday, June 2, 2016, that Kristin Louise Miller, 32 of Paw Paw, WV, was convicted of Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.  The Honorable W. Timothy Finan, Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Allegany County, sentenced Miller to fifteen (15) years in the Maryland Department of Corrections, suspending all but seven (7) years of the sentence.

In the early morning hours of December 30, 2015,an armed robbery occurred at a convenience store in Bowling Green.  Arrested at the scene were Scott Levine and Abdul Siddiq, both of whom were previously convicted and sentenced to serve fifteen years each for their roles in the robbery.  The investigation revealed that Miller had served as the getaway driver, and the three had committed an armed robbery ten days earlier at the same convenience store, as well as one in LaVale.

According to Assistant State’s Attorney Erich Bean, who prosecuted the cases, “With Ms. Miller’s conviction today, all three people involved in terrorizing our local convenience stores back in December, have been sentenced to lengthy prison terms.  These outcomes will hopefully send a message that our community won’t accept this behavior and it needs to stop.”

The case was investigated by the C3I Unit and Maryland State Police.  Miller was represented by attorney Kelly Clark.
