On Saturday Cumberland City Police responded to the area of Walnut and Valley Streets for a reported disturbance. Police noticed that a female victim had abrasions around her mouth and behind her ears. Joseph Lee Wolfe, 42, of Cumberland, was charged with second degree assault and held in the county detention center on $20,000 bond.
City police served a criminal summons Saturday regarding an indecent exposure report. Thomas Lee Murphy, Sr., 47, of Cumberland, was charged with exposing himself at Sheetz on Virginia Avenue and the 7-11 on Maryland Avenue. Murphy was released pending trial.
City police responded to a North End residence Saturday in reference to an assault. Police noticed that the victim had dried blood on her face and swelling of the upper lip. Arrested was David Lee Weimer, age 48, of Cumberland. Weimer was charged with second degree assault and held on $10,000 bond.
