On Monday, January 12, 2015 at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Cumberland Police Department responded to Martin’s Market located in the 700 block of Park Street in reference to a shoplifter.

Upon the officer’s arrival contact was made with a loss prevention employee who stated that he observed a subject place a beverage inside his coat and attempt to leave the store without paying for the item.  The suspect was detained until officers arrived.  The suspect was identified as Phillip Scott Skelley.  Skelley was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters for processing.  Skelley was issued a criminal citation charging him with theft and was released pending further action at District Court at a later date.

Arrested:

Phillip Scott Skelley – age 28 – Cumberland, MD

Charges:

Theft under $100.00.

On Monday, January 12, 2015 the Cumberland Police Department served criminal summonses on the following subjects;

 

Tyler Matthew Zalewski – age 22 – Cumberland, MD.  Charges:  Second degree assault, disorderly conduct.

 

Nicholas Joseph Datri – age 24 – Cumberland, MD.  Charges:  Possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Judy Ethel Price – age 67 – Cumberland, MD.  Charges:  Second degree assault.

 

Kisha Johnette O’Haver – age 41 – Cumberland, MD.  Charges:  Second degree assault.

 

Leon Wilton Britton – age 28 – Cumberland, MD.  Charges:  Theft.
