Two Oakland men and a teenage girl face charges after deputies from the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office recovered a pickup truck Thursday stolen earlier in the day, as well as suspected drugs and paraphernalia.

The Cumberland Times News reports Deputies said Dakota Lee Hinebaugh, 18, and Timothy Alan Moats, 20, were passengers in a 2006 Ford Ranger that was allegedly stolen from the 400 block of N Street in Mountain Lake Park early Thursday. Authorities stopped the vehicle, which was reportedly being driven by a 16-year-old girl, in the vicinity of Southern High School.

The girl was released to the custody of her parents, pending charges through juvenile services, deputies said.

Hinebaugh was charged with motor vehicle theft, theft between $1,000 and $10,000 and contributing to the condition of a child.

Moats was charged with contributing to the condition of a child, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school zone, possession of marijuana, possession of Zubsolv, possession of Subutex, possession of a hypodermic needle and two counts possession of CDS paraphernalia.

Both Hinebaugh and Moats were being held Thursday evening in the Garrett County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
