The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection has awarded several grants to help with recycling efforts. $55,000 is going to Grant County to help with purchasing a Skid Steer and build a dock to help with the program there, while $38,000 is going to Hampshire County to help pay for personnel to work with the cardboard recycling program.
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police announced this week that it is cracking down on the illegal killing of fish and wildlife through a partnership with Maryland Wildlife Crimestoppers. The new non profit group is related to an international group that is dedicated to stopping illegal hunting and fishing across the globe.
