Fire Does $20,000 Damage To Flintstone Shed & Vehicle

Firemen were called to Old Williams Road in the Flintstone area early this morning for a fire at a shed.

According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office, the call came in just after 2:30 AM and involved a shed and vehicle belonging to Michael Hofstetter.

Flintstone VFD took about 20 minutes to bring the blaze under control.

Damage to the shed and a nearby Ford F-250 totaled $20,000.

Additional Information: The shed was a total loss.  The fire spread to a 2005 Ford F250 which was parked next to the shed and was also a total loss.
