Heroin And Opiod Emergency Task Force Announce Spending Plan

Governor Larry Hogan's administration announced last week how the state will spend $2 million on fighting heroin addiction in Maryland.  Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford, who leads the state's Heroin and Opioid Emergency Task Force, released the group's interim report Tuesday and announced spending plans, including a focus on the Eastern Shore. He says Maryland has a heroin crisis statewide, and while the Eastern Shore appears to have more of a problem per capita- the problem is statewide. Solutions will be difficult to come by…
