The Allegany County Health Department reports that a woman who was a resident at Cumberland Healthcare Center has died due to complications of COVID-19. This is the fifth coronavirus-related death at the facility and the ninth death for Allegany County.
Today the health department reports no new cases of COVID-19 in Allegany County for the second day in a row. The COVID-19 case count remains at 122.
As of Friday, 951 Allegany County residents had been tested for COVID-19, with 811 of those testing negative, 122 testing positive, and 18 still pending.
