On November 22nd, 2020, The Cumberland City Police Department responded to a Zihlman St residence for the report of a disturbance in the home. Upon arrival on scene, officers could hear the disturbance outside the residence. Contact was then made with the caller inside the home. While speaking to the caller, the suspect, Loy Dale Eugene Linaweaver, 60, of Frostburg MD, was continuing to create a disturbance and threaten the caller. As a result, Linaweaver was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters. Linaweaver was taken before the District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a temporary commitment.
Arrested: Loy Dale Eugene Linaweaver Age: 60, Frostburg MD
Charges: Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Trespassing.
