Beckman’s Accepts COVID testing Sign-Ups

June 26th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

Beckman's Greene Street Pharmacy has begun accepting sign-ups for the area's first non-hospital COVID-19 testing at their location in Cumberland.  There will be two separate testings administered starting on July 7th and July 14th with drive-up nasal swab testing. In addition, antibody blood testing will be administered the following days on July 8th and July 15th. There will be a $20 charge for the nasal swab test, and a $25 fee for the antibody blood testing. Alice McCullough with Beckman’s said anyone who has doubts as to whether or not they may be infected should take advantage of the taking opportunities…

Will Beckman’s accept insurance assignment for those charges?
Is a copay expected at the time of the test?

I thought Larry was complaining about fighting other states, the federal government and other countries to get precious tests. I guess you can just go get one through a drive through or pharmacy without a doctor order. Just another example of the unnecessarily extreme reaction to Covid.

I’d like to Thank The Beckman Family for stepping up and leading the way to help this county with the current pandemic that has crippled this country. Thank you for following the Science and not the political agenda that is wide spread throughout our County.. God Bless You !

I heard Tony Little will be swabbing you and if you act now it’s only $25.
    But wait, there’s more!

    > It’s not God bless you. The Lord God Jehovah, Supreme Ruler of the Universe says the Beckman’s are trying to profit off of others misfortunes.

    > A reaction that has Covid cases on decline in MD, while the Trump method of pretending it’ll go away by itself is working so well in TX, FL, OK, etc.???
