The Cumberland Economic Development Commission is considering ordering a feasibility study of the former police station and post office at 19 Frederick Street to determine if the building has a viable use. Why must everything have a paid study? Don’t we pay these qualified leaders enough for them to take on these feasibility studies and HELP the Cumberland taxpayers and save everyone money, time, needless effort costing big dollars. Maybe someone’s brother or sister own the company that does these studies.

Why do we have studies? Do you really want people who do not have the background taking on projects that they aren’t qualified to handle? Can you imagine how much that would cost us?
