The Cumberland Police Department is investigating a single vehicle accident that occurred in the parking lot of an establishment on East Industrial Blvd. that sent one adult male to the hospital with a head injury.
The accident occurred on Saturday evening at approximately 10:22 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the scene after several calls. When they arrived, officers found the vehicle unoccupied with significant damage and the driver had been already transported to the hospital.
The accident is still under investigation but speed and reckless driving are suspected to be contributing factors.
