City Man Charged With DUI at Drive Thru

June 14th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

On Friday, Cumberland Police Officers were dispatched to the 13000 block of Ali Ghan Road for a vehicle driver possibly intoxicated in the drive through. When officers arrived, they located the vehicle and the operator Bradford Albright, age 44 of Cumberland.  Officers during their investigation found that Albright was operating the vehicle under the influence. They also learned that he attempted to conceal a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) once aroused by a concerned citizen. Officers located the CDS during a subsequent search. Albright was charged with CDS possession not marijuana, possession of CDS paraphernalia, and DUI related traffic charges. Albright was later provided his Initial Appearance in District Court and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.

At least he wasn’t shot and killed. Being drunk at a drive thru can be lethal.

Having fat skin drunken lawyers defend a man’s reputation can also be a lethal mistake

He wasn’t shot and killed because he didn’t punch the police and take their taser

What does it have to do with politics? Do you think he’d be alive if he were white?

          > I don’t think anyone could say, including the police officers in question, if he’d be alive if he were white. The Washington Post published a study that indicated twice as many unarmed whites were shot and killed than blacks. The man here whether black or white would very likely still be alive if he had acted differently.

      > OK you brought it up.
Why didn’t the law enforcement officers just let him run away and impound the car, look up the registration on the plates and wait for him at his house?

          > I fail to see what part of that statement doesn’t make sense. He was drunk, he wasn’t armed, he had no vehicle, and where would he end up but home? He posed no imminent threat to anyone. Regardless of the color of his skin he was just a stupid drunk. Let him sleep it off and haul him away in the morning.

Why did they pop two caps in his torso right in the back? Are they not allowed to shoot someone in the leg or the ass?

Job well done officers, another impaired individual off the road before he can take the life of the innocence.
Obey the law and an officer’s commands and you live to see another day.
