A waste of City Taxpayers money that “supposed” educated employed & elected salary personnel, already @ city hall SHOULD take care of.

McClarran and Williams approached the city and pushed their services, not out of any concern for the citizens of Cumberland, but for $2000.00 dollars per month.
You can already see how they will be a boon for the city as they can sell themselves to cash strapped Cumberland with the promise of a quick return on that investment.
From now on the public will not hear from their elected officials but instead will hear the upbeat, positive spin of public relations from a paid mouthpiece.

Is it any surprise that this firm was hired without the chance for other firms to compete? Of course not! This is political payback. McClarran and Williams was the HIRED PR FIRM for Mayor Morriss’ campaign. They were paid by Morris to run his campaign and consult and now he is paying them back with your tax dollars. Every other administration was able to talk to the public themselves. Morriss wants to hide from the public and line the pockets of his friends in the process.

Disgraceful Mayor! They worked on your campaign! The city can’t do their own communicating. Doesn’t pass the smell test.
