Commissioners Announce Launch Of Internship Program

At its bi-weekly meeting, the Board of County Commissioners of Allegany County announced the launch of a program providing summer internship opportunities for students at Frostburg State University and Allegany College of Maryland for 2019. In its second year, the Commissioners’ Fellowship Program is a 12-week summer internship program with Allegany County Government. The program, which is a partnership with Frostburg State University and Allegany College of Maryland, provides real-life work experience for students attending these institutions of higher learning.
