The Allegany County Commissioners have signed a five-year lease agreement with a medical cannabis processing company expected to locate in the North Branch Industrial Park in Mexico Farms. The agreement, approved during the regular county meeting, is with Abdo Development, who will be subleasing the space to the medical cannabis processing company, Bouquet Labs. Bouquet Labs was recently granted a license by the Maryland Cannabis Commission. The hope is that this venture will lead to up to 20 jobs for the area.
