County Stands Behind Limited Racing at Fairgrounds

Although the state has not yet signed off on large scale events being held- the Allegany County Commissioners last week authorized limited racing activities at the Allegany County Fairgrounds beginning this weekend.  With the county fair and the annual DelFest events recently cancelling due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic , the county’s decision to allow auto racing has raised some eyebrows.  Commissioner David Caporale tells WCBC News that every indication at this point is that no guidelines or protocols are being violated…

    Polish Mountain Hill Climb announced yesterday that it is canceling the 2020 event.
