On 11/15/2020 at approximately 8:00 AM the Cumberland City Police were dispatched to the single digit block of Ridgeway Terrace for a disturbance. Upon arrival officers spoke to Jacob Patrick Snyder and observed him to be in an excited state. Officers located a hypodermic syringe near Mr. Snyder and requested consent to search him. Mr. Snyder allowed officers to search him and suspected heroin and suspected fentanyl was located on his person. Mr. Snyder was arrested without incident and taken before a District Court Commissioner. Mr. Snyder was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
Arrested – Jacob Patrick Snyder (21) Cumberland, MD
Charges – 2 counts of CDS Possession not Marijuana and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia
