On Friday at approximately 8:30 PM the Cumberland City Police Department responded to a business in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue for a female passed out in a vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and contacted Sheena Marie McFarland. Officers observed signs that Ms. McFarland was under the influence of alcohol. Ms. McFarland began to start her vehicle to leave the scene but was stopped. Ms. McFarland then assaulted an officer by kicking them in the chest. Ms. McFarland was placed under arrest after a brief struggle. Ms. McFarland was taken to the police station and refused field sobriety tests. Ms. McFarland was taken before a District Court Commissioner and released on a $2,500.00 unsecured bond.

Charges – Assault 2nd Degree, Numerous Traffic Charges
