Delaney on The View: Calls Trump Un-American

June 13th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

Appearing on ABC’s The View this morning, John Delaney was asked about President Trump’s comments that he would take election assistance from a foreign government.

Delaney said : “Well, it’s un-American. I mean that’s the really simple way of thinking about it. It’s un-American. It’s unpatriotic. I think it’s against the law. But putting aside the law for a second, it is completely un-American. This is an example of if he [Trump] was one-quarter of the man Senator McCain was, we would never have to have this conversation, for example.”

Right or Left side, it doesn’t matter, I want you to ponder this…..

If you or I acted like President Trump in our daily lives we would have likely been fired from our jobs, if we treated our friends and family the way he treats others we would have lost those people as friends and family.

It’s unacceptable….. So before you you say Trump 2020 THINK about what I said.

This is not about being a Republican or Democrat it’s about being HUMAN.

Very well said, Mr Pinkerton. When the issue is put in terms of what is acceptable by anyone in a society, the situation takes on a completely different context.

I have a sixth grader who knows better than to call people names like “Lying Ted” or “Little Marco”. Of course, he was raised by parents who cared that he behaves and wouldn’t tolerate that kind of behavior.
