John Delaney, Maryland’s Sixth District congressman running for president since last year, will claim an early milestone in the 2020 contest Sunday: Long before most Democrats formally enter the race, he has campaigned in all 99 counties in Iowa. Delaney, virtually unknown outside of Maryland,, has already spent more than $1 million advertising in Iowa, the earliest significant investment from a presidential candidate in the state in memory. At a time when many in the party are leaning further left and progressive- Delaney campaigns as a moderate, centrist democrat focused on solutions. Naturally, he says, the economy is what is on the minds of most voters- and he says most he has spoke to are not pleased with President Trump’s tariff war…
