On November 21, 2018, the Cumberland City Police served an Arrest Warrant on Christopher Corbin, age 37 of Ellerslie, Md.  The Cumberland Police along with the Allegany County Sheriff’s office obtained information regarding the whereabouts of Corbin. Officers converged on the location and where able to locate Corbin inside a residence on Grand Avenue.  Crobin was taken into custody without incident.  He was then served with the Warrant charging him with Second Degree Escape, Second Degree Escape Conditions of Release, and Malicious Destruction of Property under $1000. Corbin was later taken to District Court for his Initial Appearance and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bail.
