Fed Funding Will Help Congested Annapolis Roads

Members of Maryland’s Congressional delegation announced new federal funding to improve road safety in Annapolis. US Senators Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin along with Congressman John Sarbanes said over $600,000 is earmarked to help Maryland’s capital install AI-based traffic signal technology designed to prevent accidents. Funding will be through the US Department of Transportation Safe Streets and Roads grant program.
