Former Parkside Principal blasts Superintendent for playing politics

October 25th, 2018 by WCBC Radio

Former Parkside School Principal Patti Stevenson phoned WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” Thursday making a number of accusations against Superintendent David Cox and his administration. The accusations ranged from Cox getting involved in this year’s school board election to his playing favorites with certain teachers and administrators in the system.

Bravo to this woman for speaking out!

Many years ago, there was a Board of Ed official warning employees about having the campaign signs of a few specific candidates in their yards. Using their position to influence….or more accurately, to bully subordinates about their election choices is beyond wrong!

I’ve never met Mrs. Stevenson, but I trust what she says. I know teachers who are afraid of Dr. Cox and repercussions.

I hope the public hears and sees what’s happening here.
