At approximately 9:06, officers from the Cumberland Police Department arrested Benjamin Parker Childs for general prostitution. Childs was arrested after contacting an undercover police officer and agreeing to give the officer money in exchange for a sexual act. Childs was arrested at a S. George Street location and was taken into custody without incident. Childs was processed and taken before the District Court Commissioner where he was released pending trial in District Court.
