High School sports get permission for fall practice

June 16th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

Maryland high school sports have been given the go ahead to begin training for the fall season. State Schools Superintendent Dr. Karen Salmon made the announcement at a press conference with Governor Larry Hogan. The MPSSAA says that, under state regs, practice can begin on August 12, but must be in compliance with the COVID-19 size of gatherings in place at the time.

The association says it will be providing guidance to athletic administrators and coaches regarding the safe return of in person operation of such programs.

The schools are sorting matters in order of their importance; free meals the other day, sports today. It really is all about bread and circus these days.
