House GOP Leaders Blast Montgomery County Private Schools Decision

August 2nd, 2020 by WCBC Radio

House Republicans today decried the decision by the Montgomery County Health Officer to prohibit private and religious schools from opening to in-person instruction until at least October 1. House Minority Leader Nic Kipke and House Minority Whip Kathy Szeliga sent a letter to the Governor requesting that he take action to overturn this decision.

"The Maryland Board of Education has said schools can open to in-person instruction if they comply with CDC guidelines and the guardrails established by the state," said House Minority Leader Nic Kipke. "Every public school administration in the state has been given the opportunity to make a decision on reopening, the same opportunity should be afforded to private and religious schools."

"This is a blatant abuse of power by an unelected bureaucrat," said House Minority Whip Kathy Szeliga. "To threaten imprisonment for the act of reopening a religious schools is draconian and flies in the face of the religious freedoms this state was founded on."

That’s BS Welchy. You must be comparing Allegany Co. to counties downstate. There is no comparison. Montgomery Co has well over 1,000,000 residents. Our county population is less than 7% of that. Montgomery has over 165,000 public school students in 207 schools. We have about 8,500 students in 22 schools. Do you think they might have a good reason for being cautious? Has nothing to do with the Bill of Rights or control over anyone.

Now this is what I call total CONTROL!

A list of things Trump is banning to get the nation back on track:

      K-pop

      Stairs

        > It seems we got both parties in different levels banning everything and is illegal in every sense that if taken to court the courts would strike down, Closures, Quarantines on people from states that aren’t from their own. Shoving masks in peoples throats. Not allowing people to vote absentee due to age reasons or virus concerns. Also shutting down apps because they ruined someones rally. Yes I am saying this about Montgomery County, President trump. Governors like Cuomo or Mayor Lightfoot and New England Governors.

Why are they doing this? John 15: 18-21, they hate and persecute Christians because they hate Jesus. “ But all these things they will do to you on account of My name, because they do not know Him who sent Me” John 15:21. Don’t be surprised that unbelievers do what they do, they hate our God.

As always, the truth is in the pudding. Well, in this case it’s in the scientific data.
Montgomery County has average of 120 new Covid 19 cases per day and 86 Hospitalizations per day. If I would live in Montgomery County, it would concern me. But that is just me.
